Well damn, this goes hard. Big Boi just dropped the latest fire from his upcoming album "Boomiverse." The track opens with an Asian vocal sample, which proceeds to dominate the bulk of the instrumental. The production is strong on this one, continuing Big Boi's sonic aesthetic of pristine, futuristic mixing and mastering. Killer Mike sets things off with a crazy verse, proving that the RTJ vet is one of the rare rappers who keeps getting better with age. His flow switch around the 53 second mark is badass as hell.
As for the master of ceremonies himself, Big Boi simply dominates the mic. While many are quick to cite Andre as the clear Outkast great, it's a damn crime to sleep on Daddy Fat Saxxx. With Lucious Left Foot sitting as one of my favorite albums of the past decade, I personally can't wait for this one.
