Yesterday marked the one-year anniversary of Kirk Knight's debut album Late Knight Special. He commemorated the occasion by releasing a new track on SoundCloud called "10,000."
Knight has long since proven his chops a producer. On "10,000" he conjures a booming, propulsive boom bap beat that samples Drake's "Cece's Special" (s/o 416 Six) and sparkles as it trundles along into the night. Knight raps with a chip on the shoulder -- he's shooting for the stars.
