We kicked off a new season of On The Come Up at the beginning of June, with newly-anointed XXL Freshman 21 Savage. Since then, we've rolled out videos with up & comers including RJ aka Mr. LA, constantly-finnessing Nessly, New York rapper/underground king Wiki, and then last week, "Uber Everywhere" hitmaker Madeintyo. We have a new episode coming later this afternoon, but before that hits, we're leaking a new freestyle Madeintyo recorded at the HNHH Studio during his visit, bringing along Private Club Records' Royce Rizzy and Salma Slims to rap mainly about bitches and smoking.
This year we're doing some extra special (and exclusive/important/generally dope) shit at the end of the On The Come Up season. We'll be dropping a free mixtape featuring records from each artist in season five. Madeintyo happens to have the only freestyle on the project, opting for O.T. Genasis' "Cut It" beat. This is just the beginning too-- Volume 1-- you can expect there to be a new Volume with each season of OTCU in the future.
