Yung Joey is looking to ride the wave after releasing "Gas" with Gucci Mane last month and appearing on Mike WiLL Made It’s Ransom. Now we’ve got a new track featuring Harlem’s Dave East, “All Day High.”
The collaboration is a maximalist joint, with speedy snare hits and big bass layered behind other audio effects. The beat was created by The Superiors, and it was definitely meant for a big system. Joey rips the first verse and then spits the hook about staying high all day, just hoping to make see the night. Dave East gets the second verse before Joey closes out the song.
Yung Joey is planning to release a solo tape this year, but it remains to be seen if this song will make the final cut.
