Odd Future have always been experimenters, and Hodgy Beats is no exception. On “Resourcefool (lofi),” he sing/raps over a funky synth beat. The (lofi) tag is most apparent on this track, as his vocals have a rough quality to them.
There’s a lot going on in the beat, but Hodgy manages to cut the through prominently on the track.
The Odd Future emcee also dropped two other tracks this morning, “d00rs (lofi)” and “Loyalty? (lofi).” No word on what the occasion for the these songs is, or if they’re related past the (lofi) tag.
