We've got new Drake, and of course, it came via OVO Sound Radio on Beats 1. OVO co-founder Oliver El-Khatib took the decks and dropped a Drizzy remix of The Weeknd's Kanye West-produced hit "Tell Your Friends," off Beauty Behind the Madness.
The lush, slowed down instrumental is perfect for Drake, and indeed, he takes his time in between lines, sometimes singing, sometimes rapping, always on point. The subject matter is typical Drake, watching his girl "E-e-e-volve" from a distance. Honestly, we don't need any singles if he keeps dropping remixes like this.
Expect Drake's version of "Tell Your Friends" to take off in similar fashion to "Hotline Bling." Drake clearly wants to bring OVOXO back to the world, so perhaps The Weeknd will turn this into an official remix.
