With a title like "Grippin' Grain," you know it's about to be some Southern shit. That's exactly what Maybach Music's DJ, DJ Scream, brings us this afternoon, and to really create an authentic experience, he brings us a few different generations of Southern rappers to round out the record-- from veteran MC 8 Ball, to Big K.R.I.T., to up-and-comer Scotty ATL. The record is built around a twanging guitar loop and bassline, with organ keys sprinkled through out.
We've been waiting for updates on DJ Scream's album for a minute now, and with this single hitting iTunes, hopefully that means moves are being made. Scream says as of now the album is untitled.
