Thus far, all of the leaks we've heard from Johnny Cinco's impending tape I Swear make it seem like he'll be the next Quality Control artist to blow up. Lots of this is due to Spiffy, a little-known producer who's executive producing the project, but Cinco's also becoming more of a recognizable presence on the mic.
With a voice that nestles comfortably in between Rich Homie Quan's and the new delivery that Ca$h Out started using last year (peep "Let's Get It" for an intro to his newfound garbled warble), Cinco's world-weary singing is doing wonders for his new material.
I Swear arrives on February 9th.
