Tinie (f.k.a. Tinie Tempah)

It&#8217;s been over a year since we&#8217;ve heard from grime rapper-turned international star <a href="/profile/TinieTempah" class="text-word" target="_blank" >Tinie Tempah</a>. Today, the British rapper shares &#8220;Flash!,&#8221; an uptempo track that showcases his unique ability to remain both a highly skilled lyricist and a pop sensation in his home country. 
Unlike the grittier, more true-to-grime tracks that Tinie&#8217;s fellow UK rapper <a href="/profile/skepta" class="text-word" target="_blank" >Skepta</a>&#8217;s been dropping in the past year, &#8220;Flash!&#8221; can exist in both hip-hop and EDM contexts, which should (and already has) elevated Tinie&#8217;s status. There&#8217;s no word yet on whether this is from a new Tinie Tempah project or just a one-off, but whatever the case, &#8220;Flash!&#8221; is a blast.
