Next week, we'll have the distinct pleasure of premiering a new EP from Honey Cocaine fittingly titled Like A Drug. Today, we get to share the first track we've heard from the project. Entitled "Curve Ball," it's a bouncy, synth-led track featuring a tag from DJ Carisma.
With her delivery alternating between sing-songy and hard-nosed, Honey Cocaine shows her lyrical chops on this track. She's got the ability to craft catchy hooks and verses that locate her as an ill rapper as well. On "Curve Ball," she talks about never falling in love, and thusly disses dudes who are whipped by their girlfriends.
