As promised, Jay Electronica hops on a remix of Common and Vince Staples' "Kingdom."

A few days ago, we reported that Jay Electronica was slated to appear on an upcoming remix of Common and Vince Staples' "Kingdom," and now it's arrived. Common just posted the remix on his SoundCloud with that relatively low budget artwork you see to the left.

With the original No I.D. production remaining intact, Common and Vince Staples go first, leaving the special guest for last. When he hops on the beat, Jay Elec-Hanukkah doesn't disappoint. He begins with an all-too-familiar "Nas hit me up" line that previously appeared on "Exhibit C," and moves on to say "Allahu Akbar" and lash out at "devils who laughed at me." A typical Elec verse will send your head spinning, and mine feels like a damn washing machine right now.

Quotable Lyrics:

It's that Nat King "Unforgettable"
Black king on the pedestal
The way he made words into edibles
Was incredible

- Jay Elec
