A few months back, we got what initially appeared to be the official follow-up to that project, 1017 Thug 2, though it turned out to be a compilation of outtakes from the same Gucci sessions that produced the first installment.
It seems that the just-announced 1017 Thug 3 will be a similar type of release, with GuWop has dropping the intro from the tape today, which happens to feature an opening statement from the rapper via prison phone.
