Since dropping last December, Fabolous' "Cuffin' Season" has inspired a number of rappers to record their own verses over the song's instrumental. Preceded by versions from Young Chris, N.O.R.E., King Louie and Troy Ave, AX takes on the track, sharing his "Cuffin' Season" freestyle today.
Based around the hook, "These fiends keep calling, I ain't picking up," AX'z freestyle centers less around the thirsty female suitors in Fabolous' original, and more around addicts fiending for whatever AX has in stock. When coupled with the song's artwork, which depicts an iPhone receiving an incoming call from "Fiend," the song's message becomes even clearer.
