Charlamagne Tha God recently appeared on The Brilliant Idiots Podcast, where he discussed the whole Birdman Breakfast Club situation, and he shed some light on what went down right before Birdman told the trio to put some respek on his name.
Charlamagne says that, apparently before he walked into the room, he was listening to none other than Eminem's "Lose Yourself." Why is this so hilarious. Was he trying to amp himself up before demanding respek?
"He comes to the radio station, I see him when he walks in, I'm watching him through the glass for like 30 seconds. This is no lie, Eminem's "Lose Yourself' was playing, I dunno where it was coming from, I dunno if it was on the radio or if it was in his headphones...but Eminem's "Lose Yourself" was playing, I'm dead ass serious, I'm not making this up. He walks in and goes "y'all ready?" and then that's what y'all saw."
