Jimmy Kimmel Live is broadcasting from Brooklyn Academy of Music this week, and last night's program featured a rather distinguished guest, Brooklyn's favorite son Jay Z. A proud moment for Brooklyn to say the least.
In the interview, Jay talked about TIDAL, growing up in Brooklyn, rapping against Busta Rhymes in high school, life as a sports agent (his clients at Roc Nation Sports include Kevin Durant, Yoenis Cespedes, Victor Cruz, & Dez Bryant), and more.
They then headed to the Barclays Center where Jay performed "Empire State of Mind" as a part of last night's TIDAL showcase, which also featured an impressive billing of stars: Jay Z, Beyoncé, Nicki Minaj, Usher, Lil Wayne, Nick Jonas, T.I., Rick Ross,Meek Mill, French Montana, Fabolous, Travi$ Scott, Pusha T, Vic Mensa, Hit-Boy, Flatbush Zombies... and more.
