Kendrick Lamar talks to Annie Mac about "To Pimp A Butterfly" and more.

Kendrick Lamar took a trip across the pond, and while there he had a sit-down with BBC Radio 1's Annie Mac. In the two-part interview, Kendrick delves into the creation of To Pimp A Butterfly.

Kendrick talks about growing up in Compton and being able to a more positive representation of Compton. He also talks about the jazzy elements of TPAB, and the contributors who helped make the album what it is. Catch that in the first part of the interview above.

In the second part, below, Kendrick and Annie Mac discuss music in general. Kendrick explains how he saw "California Love" music video being shot at 7 or 8-years old (a story you've probably heard before).
