50 Cent's new Hang w/ mobile app will be streaming Fifty's SXSW performance for free.

In other news non-related to 50 Cent’s confrontational weekend, we have something about 50’s music to tell ya about. On March 11th, 50 Cent will be headlining a SXSW concert down in Austin, Texas and allowing fans to stream the show for free through his new Hang w/ mobile app, which he is an investor in.

In statement made to Billboard, 50 said "I'm excited to be able to bring my fans behind the scenes and give the opportunity to those who couldn’t make it a chance to experience a concert at South By Southwest.”

The concert is scheduled to take place at 8 p.m. at the 1100 Warehouse in Austin during the "crossover" night between the last day of SXSW's Interactive festival and the beginning of its music events.

The Hang w/ app is used by dozens of celebrities to broadcast their daily activities and chat with fans. "This was the original reason we built the app," "so celebrities can monetize their social media outreach and activities.", said Andrew Maltin, Chief Executive of Hang W/. The app has been downloaded more than 1 million times since its March 2013 launch and has broadcast 3 million live events.

Timbaland is another minority investor in the company, and has also used the app to live stream portions of his concerts.
