For some reason, a lot of rap fans seem to believe Drake invented blending singing and rapping, as well as being an emotional dude. Houston's Z-Ro (again, not the first) was doing both a decade before Drizzy picked up the mic, and he's still doing it damn well to this day.
Just this weekend, the Southern crooner dropped "Keep It Real", which does a great job of introducing his song to anew audience without making any compromises. The Rick Ross-assisted record could even be a hit if marketed the right way. "Hard From The Start" however, is a more modest number, but it's no less effective.
