Diddy has a strange take on the big fight.

He may have been around the world, but nothing could've prepared Diddy for what he saw during the much-hyped Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor fight from this past weekend. On the flip side, there's many people who also can't believe what Diddy says he saw either.

In a video that's been making the rounds on social media today, the hip-hop mogul stated that he felt the ref was "racially profiling" the boxers, adding that they "should've let him knock that chump out." Diddy is likely referring to the end of the Mayweather and McGregor bout, where the former had the latter on the ropes and the ref put a stop to the fight at the 1:05 mark of the 10th round. Fatigue was supposedly a factor from McGregor's side of things, as the UFC fighter saw his energy dip off noticeably after the seventh round of the fight. Mr. Combs' assertion caught many other social media users by surprise, with some comments on Instagram designed to draw people's attention to the fact that the referee for the boxing match was an African-American. How this man now gets called out for racially profiling the fighters in what was the biggest fight of the year and possibly the decade, in terms of the money involved, I have no idea. All I know is those words exited Diddy's mouth.

There were lots of celebrities, from the rap world and otherwise, who voiced their support for both men after the fight had wrapped. Boxing great Lennox Lewis gave some big props to both fighers, who really have the match their all. While a lot of those who used Twitter to discuss the fight rightfully praised Mayweather for going out on top with a mark of 50-0, there were at least as many people who applauded Conor McGregor and showed him some major love for a strong effort in his professional boxing debut. There's no word on whether the Irishman will undertake another boxing opponent in the near future, but aside from the fatigue, he managed to acquit himself very well in a fight that many speculated would end early with a resounding Mayweather win.
