DJ Khaled does it for his son.

DJ Khaled, one of the most successful figures in the world of hip-hop music, wouldn't seem like a guy who's afraid of much. After all, he's conquered nearly all the obstacles life has set in front of him where his career is concerned. In fact, since Grateful was released earlier this summer, he's enjoyed multiple No. 1 singles with "I'm The One" and "Wild Thoughts," both of which have been certified platinum. In addition to those achievements, Khaled has also been nominated for a Video Music Award, a show which he will also perform at before the month is up. However, in a recent video he shared online, the hitmaker revealed that, not only does he have a deep-rooted fear that's been disabling for him over the years, but he's now taken steps to overcome that fear, thanks to his son.

In a clip DJ Khaled posted to his Instagram account, he admitted that he hasn't flown in ten years, because of a sever fear of air travel. However, he also said that it's because of his son, Asahd Khaled, that he recently took to the skies and overcame his fear. The bond between father and son clearly has never been stronger. Check out the video of Khaled's confession below.

While we're on the topic of Asahd, can we agree that no toddler, before or since, has been as popular on social media as he has become? In his short time on this planet, he's already amassed 1.4 million followers on Instagram, not to mention the executive producer credit he received on his father's most recent LP. Whether he's riding the carousel in New York or cracking up when his dad lays down one of his now-signature catch phrases, there's no doubt that he's having the time of his life. Rihanna has even called him a "legend" already. Enough said.

When it comes that "Wild Thoughts" track, DJ Khaled has also been inspired to give back to his fans. He's offering up $10,000 to the winner of his "Wild Thoughts" contest, which asks contestants to come up with their best video rendition or response to his acclaimed music video.
