Donald Glover has been at the forefront of TV comedy recently with his series Atlanta and the Academy is taking notice.
As per Forbes, both Glover and the series itself got big ups from Emmy voters today, as each received top-level nominations. Glover was nominated for Best Actor in a Comedy Series, where he'll compete against the likes of Aziz Ansari, Anthony Anderson and last year's winner, Jeffrey Tambour. Atlanta also scored a nomination for Best Comedy Series, in a category where Veep, Master of None and Silicon Valley were also nominated.
The Internet also rolled out their support for Glover, who could snag yet another trophy for his growing collection.
