"They tried to give it to them, but they wouldn’t take it."

Kevin Durant has been locked in throughout the Golden State Warriors' 15-0 post season run, but he's really kicked it up a notch in the NBA Finals, leading the Warriors to within one game of bringing a title back to the Bay Area.

Durant came through in the clutch during last night's epic Game 3, scoring 14 points in the fourth quarter including a dagger three pointer right in LeBron's face with under a minute to play.

KD finished the night with 31 points, eight rebounds and four assists while Curry chipped in 26 points, 13 rebounds and six assists. Naturally, both of their moms were ecstatic after the huge win in Cleveland.

Video footage from the post-game celebration shows Wanda Durant telling Sonya Curry and others around her,

"They tried to give it to them, but they wouldn’t take it," she said. "That’s what happened. That’s what happened. That’s what happened. They wouldn’t take it."
