Chance The Rapper comes in at number 46 on Fortune's World's Greatest Leaders List.

Fortune Magazine shared their annual list of the world's greatest leaders and familiar faces found their way on top. Chance The Rapper, now a leading advocate for the improvement of Chicago public schools (CPS) is number 46 on their list.

The 23-year-old recently donated a cool million to CPS after a fruitless meeting with Illinois Governor Bruce Rauner who asked where he would find the funds. Fortune reports that Chano's donation will go to arts and after-school programs "and even set off a chain reaction, with Seattle Seahawk Michael Bennett inspired to donate his endorsement money to worthy causes."

The Grammy-winning artist has been at the forefront of the movement to reduce gun violence in his hometown. He often performs free concerts in Chicago to raise funds and awareness. HipHopDX reports that last year, he helped raise over $100,000 for the Warmest Winter campaign. And in 2015, he assisted in donating $100,000 again to CPS as part of the city’s Get Schooled, Get Connected Challenge.
