Dr. J Named Head Coach In Big3 League

Dr. J added to the Big3 League.

Ice Cube's Big3 League just brought another NBA legend into the fold- "Dr. J" Julius Erving.

Dr. J will reportedly be a coach for one of the eight teams, joining other NBA legends like Allen Iverson, Gary Payton, George Gervin, Clyde Drexler and Rick Barry.

Via CBS Sports' Jack Maloney,

"The professional 3-on-3 league has announced another big name acquisition with the signing of the legendary Julius 'Dr. J' Erving as a coach."

Earlier this week it was revealed that the Big3 League will officially tip off on June 25th at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, following a player combine and draft in April.

The league will go on for 10 weeks, featuring four games being played at one venue on the same day throughout the Summer.
