Chrisette Michele has a won a Grammy. In a few days, she can add another accomplishment to her resume: performer at a presidential inauguration.
Michele will perform at Donald Trump's inauguration this Friday in Washington D.C., the NY Daily News reports. Sources close to the inauguration production team say that a deal has been in place with Michele for months, and that it has been kept a "big secret" out of fear of criticism. The Long Island chanteuse will perform a short R&B set.
Inauguration organizers have struggled to put together a full musical program for the event. Toby Keith and 3 Doors Down will perform. YG's $4 million offer to perform "FDT" is still on the table.
