Cee-Lo Green fans got a bit of a scare today when footage of the singer and rapper seemingly being injured by an exploding phone circulated social media. Cee-Lo wasted no time in shutting down the assumption he had been hurt, revealing via Facebook Live that the video that made the rounds was filmed in promotion of an upcoming project.

“What you saw today was a clip from a smaller video that we were shooting for a new project I'm doing called ‘Gnarly Davidson,’” he said, stressing that he is "alive and well." He went on to apologize to any fans who worried for his well-being unnecessarily.
