Playboi Carti has released music sporadically since signing to A$AP Mob. In a recent Snapchat, he revealed that his official debut mixtape may finally be on the way.

“Old Carti shit, all that shit y’all niggas been hearing,” he said. “I don’t know nothing about none of that shit, I ain’t dropped none of that shit… I’m about to drop that tape, nigga.”

“I’m finna drop this tape soon,” he continued. “I don’t give a fuck about none of these labels, I don’t give a fuck about none of these bitches. New whips, new music, new ice!”
