The week before Labor Day brought us some nice late summer treats in the form of Travis Scott's Birds In The Trap Sing McKnight, Isaiah Rashad's The Sun's Tirade, and Fabolous' Summertime Shootout 2. Of those, Scott's album was definitely the most feverishly anticipated, thanks to some delays as well as his substantial fanbase, and that popularity shows in this week's edition of Top Tracks. Scott leads the pack with three appearances, but oddly enough, none as a lead artist. Gucci Mane, Chris Brown, and Lil Uzi Vert are the runners up, all with two spots apiece this week.
New tracks that narrowly missed out on the Top Ten this time around include G-Unit's previously-unreleased "Set The Pick" (#12), Lil yachty and 21 Savage's "Guap" (#13), Lil Uzi's Steve Aoki collab "I Can't Lose" (#14), and Travis Scott and Lil Uzi's "RaRa" (which surprisingly only made it to #18 despite both guys being on undeniable hot streaks).
10. Young Thug Feat. Gucci Mane, Travis Scott & Gunna - Floyd Mayweather
The HNHH staff were all impressed by Thugger's new album No, My Name Is Jeffery (the users? not so much), and one of the definite highlights is the hookless "Floyd Mayweather," which got a Travis Scott verse tacked onto it after the album's release. After debuting at #6 last week, it slips to #10 in its second week out.
9. Mac Miller Feat. Anderson .Paak - Dang!
This first taste of Mac Miller's upcoming album The Divine Feminine has never risen past the #8 spot, but having been out for six weeks, it's held on to become one of the longer-tenured songs in our Top Ten this year. That definitely bodes well for Mac's album, as well as Anderson .Paak's already-bright future. This week, "Dang!" holds at #9.
8. DJ Khaled Feat. Nicki Minaj, Chris Brown, Future, August Alsina, Jeremih & Rick Ross - Do You Mind
And now, the song that's spent the second-most time in our Top Ten this year, after Young Thug and Lil Uzi Vert's "Dope." DJ Khaled assembled a murderer's row for his Major Key single "Do You Mind," and it's paid off in droves, as this is its seventh straight week in out Top Ten. This time, it falls from #5 to #8.
7. Ty Dolla $ign Feat. Travis Scott - 3 Wayz (Prod. By Hit-Boy)
The first new track on this week's list, "3 Wayz" is the third track we've heard from Ty's upcoming Campaign project (preceded by the Future-featuring title track and "Zaddy"). It's the second of three Travis Scott appearances this week, and also the firs time Hit-Boy's been on our list for quite some time. In its first week out, "3 Wayz" debuts at #7.
6. Fabolous Feat. Trey Songz - Sex With Me (Remix)
Last week, Fabolous surprise-dropped a sequel to last year's Summertime Shootout (just in the nick of time, as summer's basically over at this point), and one of its sure highlights is this remix of a Rihanna song by the same name. Calling upon Trey Songz for hook duty, Loso pops one into the Top Ten, with the "Sex With Me" remix debuting at #6.
5. Chris Brown - What Would You Do?
Breezy has had quite the turbulent week, with police laying siege to his house and then arresting him for assault with a deadly weapon, but he soon got out on bail and within just a day, already had a song out to respond to the situation. "What Would You Do" makes its debut at #5.
4. Migos Feat. Lil Uzi Vert - Bad & Boujee (Prod. By Metro Boomin)
Migos's No Label 3 is shaping up to be quite the tape. Previously-released tracks "Say Sum" and "Cocoon" (whose Young Thug remix landed in the Top Ten last week) were definite heaters, but the latest, "Bad Bojee" might be the best of all of them. Metro Boomin brings along the eerie minimalism he's been working with lately, and Lil Uzi comes through with a guest verse that can hang with Migos' acrobatic flows. "Bad & Bojee" debuts at #4.
3. Lil Uzi Vert - All My Sins (Prod. By Murda Beatz & FKI)
Shortly after "All My Sins" dropped last week, Lil Uzi tweeted (then deleted) "Fake Song," and since then, the track's been taken down. So make of that what you will, but people were still eager to hear what he had to offer (they mostly weren't pleased though, as it only got a 52% user rating). In its first week out, "All My Sins" lands at #3.
2. Gucci Mane Feat. Travis Scott - Last Time (Prod. By Zaytoven)
Capitalizing on Travis Scott's BITTSM release week hype, as well as Gucci Mane's continued post-prison surge, this first taste of the latter's upcoming Woptober project certainly made the best of the sum of its parts, getting a ton of views and a 90% user rating. We still don't have a release date for Woptober, but it's pretty obvious to guess which month it'll land in. "Last Time" debuts at #3.
1. Drake - You Know, You Know (CDQ) (Prod. By Kanye West)
Once again, Drake's in the top spot. Two weeks ago, he liberated this old remnant from his Thank Me Later sessions, after which it immediately rocketed to #1, and remains there in its second week out. It's been a while since we got some new Drizzy, so hopefully this'll be replaced by something fresh soon.
