Janet Jackson announces "sudden change" in plans, puts a temporary hold on her "Unbreakable" tour.

Janet Jackson is delaying the second leg of her "Unbreakable" tour, the singer revealed Wednesday morning in a one-minute, 46-second video Twitter video.

"There actually has been a sudden change," Jackson told the camera. "I thought it was important that you be the first to know. My husband and I are planning our family, so I'm going to have to delay the tour. Please, if you can, try to understand that it's important that I do this now. I have to rest up; doctor's orders. But I have not forgotten about you."

Jackson, 49, is married to Wissam Al Mana, her third husband. She previously delayed the "Unbreakable" tour last October to rest her vocal cords and undergo an unspecified procedure. She cleared up rumors that she had throat cancer in January. She did not go into great detail about the nature of her latest delay, but she thanked fans and everyone involved who had made the tour possible.

"Once again, thank you to all the fans for your love, your undying love; your loyalty that means so much to me," she said. "You're truly appreciated. It's been a long journey and you guys have been there each and every step of the way and I really do appreciate that. Thank you so much ... I will see you soon. "
