Troy Ave is gearing up to release his new mixtape this afternoon, however after a series of unfortunate events, he's opted to change the project title from Real Vs. Fake to Free Troy Ave.
For those not up to speed, the New York rapper was recently arrested for attempted murder after a shooting went down at Irving Plaza, leaving three people wounded and one dead. Although the rapper has pled not guilty to the charges brought against him, a gun found in the rapper's minivan matched the bullets used at the Irving Plaza shooting.
While Troy continues to field these accusations, he's remained on course to drop his mixtape today. In addition to announcing a new title, he's revealed the cover art, which you can peep up top.
