Last night, Jazz Cartier hit us with the tracklist for his project, Hotel Paranoia. He hinted at a February release with his "🌺Fleurebruary🌺" tweet, however little did we know he meant February 1st-- actually, some people might have known, as this morning Jazz did tweet the album was arriving today before deleting the tweet-- perhaps thinking better of it. No matter, it's here now.
Hotel Paranoia follows up the Toronto native's stand-out Marauding In Paradise, with 16 new tracks that continue down his dark and expansive path. Equally, it should distance him even further from Drake and 'that' sound-- something which he mentions on the opening record "Talk of the Town." "Everybody in the States compare me to Drake/Cause not many in the city can carry the weight," he raps.
