After teasing fans all day with the prospect of an announcement dropping at midnight, Nicki Minaj finally took to Instagram to share the big news.
"So excited to announce that I will not only perform, but I have the honorable task of HOSTING this year's MTV European Music Awards!!!!!!!" she captioned a photo of herself sitting on a throne, "AAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!! The show will shoot in GLASGOW, SCOTLAND for its 20th Anniversary ON NOVEMBER 9th!!!! Find us@mtvema and Vote at mtvema.com."
This will be Minaj's first hosting gig. Her fellow YMCMB label mate, Drake, was similarly honored with the same position at this year's ESPY awards.
No word yet on when Nicki's The Pinkprint album will be hitting stores. The LP's second single, "Anaconda," is slowly slipping down the charts, falling two spots into forth place this week after being knocked down by "Bang Bang," Minaj's own collaboration with Jessie J & Arianna Grande.
