IDK arranges an extensive posse cut featuring contributions from Rico Nasty, Juicy J, Yung Manny and more.

IDK has proven time and again that he's unafraid to let an artistic vision come to fruition, and his latest posse cut "495" is another feather in his cap. Cut from the cloth of classic southern bangers -- it is, after all, co-produced by none other than Juicy J -- IDK has enlisted a sizeable cast of supporting players for this one. The song features YungManny, Big Flock, Big JAM, Weensey, and Rico Nasty, with the majority of them partaking in the back-and-forth structure. As it happens, the only person who lands a lengthy verse is Rico, who closes things out on a distinguished note.

In keeping with the Three 6 Mafia tradition, the instrumental is both dark and up-tempo, alternating between two ominous piano riffs. Off the bat, IDK sets the tone by shouting out hip-hop's fallen soldiers, from Nipsey Hussle to Pop Smoke to XXXTentacion. From there, he's spitting bars alongside Big JAM, going back and forth on a per-bar basis. The format only shifts for Rico's verse, and by that point the instrumental has undergone a major transformation. "Pardon me, I'm comin' through, when I do, it's fifty K on me," she raps. "Got two hundred K in a rainy day, fund like 'let it rain on me.'"

QUOTABLE LYRICS

Pardon me, I'm comin' through, when I do, it's fifty K on me
Got two hundred K in a rainy day, fund like 'let it rain on me'
They don't know who to point out
So they gonna put the blame on me
