Not since Riverdance have feet moved so freely. In case you missed it, Lil Uzi Vert delivered his latest single from the fabled Eternal Atake, the electro-tinged "Futsal Shuffle 2020." On its own, the single is an enjoyable look from the young talent, if only for its boundary-pushing experimentation. Throw in a symbiotic relationship with basically every social media platform, including Twitter, Instagram, and the youthful favorite TikTok.

Upon its release, many immediately speculated that much of "Futsal's" popularity would manifest across said platforms, especially with a viral "Challenge" feeling like an inevitability. Lo and behold, the challenge has already begun to pick up steam, culminating in hundreds upon hundreds of Footloose-inspired moves. If that's not a testament to Uzi's marketing savvy, we're not entirely sure what is.

No matter how you feel about the single, and what it might say about Atake's creative direction, you can't deny that Uzi knows exactly what he's doing. Check out some of his disciples in action, if only to see his masterplan in effect. Are you on board with the "Futsal" wave?
