Waka Flocka Flame has been engaged to fellow Love & Hip Hop Hip Atlanta star Tammy Rivera for a minute, but as far as we knew, a wedding wasn't planned anywhere in the near future.
Turns out, the Waka and Tammy wed in secret about two weeks back, according to the rapper's mother and founder of MIzay entertainment, Deb Antney.
As Antney tells it, she was also left out of the loop. “I was selfish. I wanted to be a part of it,” she said. “They got a marriage license about two weeks ago without me knowing it.”
Regardless of her lack of involvement, Deb was very happy for the new husband and wife. “[He] kept his word,” she said. “He said that he was going to marry her and he did it on his terms. It was very cute to me.”
There is still a service and party in the works, Waka's mom attests, adding, “I’m happy. He’s very responsible.”
