Unless you live an extremely sheltered life, you've likely heard that Kanye West and Kim Kardashian are officially a married couple. Their wedding nuptials went down this past weekend in Florence, Italy and were undoubtedly lavish and extravagant. We were able to get a peek inside the wedding over the weekend, on top of some pre-wedding photos, and now some of Kanye's wedding speech has reportedly surfaced.
In typical Yeezy fashion, the speech was a tad bit egotistical, with Kanye offering plenty of praise for his new wifey and her family. The media and tabloids were referenced as well (because Kanye).
"They feel like it’s okay to put you on the tabloid covers to sell your image, to use you in an SNL spoof," Ye reportedly told the guests in attendance. “We don’t negotiate. We’re not like that. We’re not stupid." He added later, “The Kardashians are an industry!"
His speech continued, "We are warriors! There is not one person at this table that has not had to defend us at some point or another." Referencing a specific table of guests at the wedding, Kanye continued, "At this table…the combination of powers…can make the world a better place." He said that they were "the most remarkable people of our time."
The rapper also called Kim Kardashian the "ideal celebrity…the ideal art," and he looks forward to "spending every single day of [his] life with Kim."
