The bootleg bandits have brought "Endgame" to the internet early.

It was only a matter of time. With Avengers: Endgame poised to shatter cinematic box office records, it's no surprise that the fandom has been salivating at the prospect of catching the final chapter of the MCU's "Infinity Saga." And while the Russo Brothers have already implored the masses to keep spoilers to themselves, the unlawful nature of the internet knows no ruler. Variety has reported that the anticipated flick has officially been spotted on piracy networks, after a "bootleg bandit" snuck a video camera into a Chinese movie theater, a la Cosmo Kramer.

According to the report, some users in China began sharing a  1.2-gigabyte yesterday, between 4 and 5 pm China-time. It didn't take long before English piracy networks took notice, and brought the massive film into their clutches. Unfortunately for those hoping to hit the proverbial high seas, however, the quality is said to be enormously bad. “The image flickers constantly throughout,” reads a warning from TorrentFreak. “It’s semi-rotated and is littered throughout with watermarks for a gambling site that spin around the screen.”

Clearly, spoilers will continue to permeate the internet, despite the Russo Brother's impassioned request. As the idiom goes, patience is a virtue. Is it really worth catching one of the biggest blockbusters of all time on the equivalent in such a dubious manner?
