Pete Davidson talks about having to pay for dinner with Kid Cudi, Kanye West, and Timothée Chalamet.

Pete Davidson had been bubbling before he met Ariana Grande and during, and now after, his romance with the A-list pop star, he's become a full-blown celebrity. At one time, the comedian dreamed about meeting Kid Cudi. Now, he's actually friends with the musician. When Cudi's birthday rolled around a few months ago, he invited Pete to have dinner at Nobu and, not knowing the crowd that would be popping up, the SNL star offered to pay. Both he and Cudi have small appetites and when actor Timothée Chalamet showed up, Pete didn't bat an eyelash because he's also "skinny." However, when he found out that Kanye West and Kim Kardashian were on their way, he instantly regretted his decision.

We've previously reported on how Davidson was forced to foot a pretty expensive bill, actually booking more shows because of that one night. It appears as though the reckless spending at Nobu cut into his finances so badly that he had to move back in with his mother. In all seriousness, Pete told Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show that he and his mother split the cost of a new house, then admitting that he currently lives in the basement. The topic of conversation was brought up after Fallon asked about the arcade Pete is building at home, touching on his Mortal Kombat contributions as well.

It's crazy to think that a few months ago, Pete was planning out the rest of his life with a multi-millionaire in Ariana Grande and now, he's living in his mother's basement. Life changes quick.
