Irving is shutting down the rumors.

Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant got the rumor mill turning at full force this past weekend when they both appeared to be friendly during All-Star weekend. Multiple photos and videos of the two kept popping up on the internet which had many people thinking that they would end up linking up this offseason on a new team. Kyrie was recently asked about it all and well, let's just say he wasn't too happy with the media about all of the speculation.

"I don’t have a private life when I’m out there in the NBA," Irving explained. "I’m a human being talking to another best friend of mine. It’s just crazy. This is the stuff that just doesn’t make the league fun. Nobody helps promote the league even more by doing bulls*** like that."

Irving continued to berate the media saying that is this weren't the NBA, nobody would be talking.

"It’s my life, right? It’s two people talking, having a conversation," Kyrie said. "If this was the real world, would it be anybody’s business? But it’s a video of somebody assuming what we’re talking about, making an opinion about it. Why would I care about it? Why does that have an impact on my life?"

It is still unclear whether Irving will opt to resign with the Celtics this offseason while many have already speculated that Durant is going to the New York Knicks.
