Speculation arose as to whether Spike Lee will direct Eminem's music vid for "Headlights."

If "Headlights," the memorable track where Shady shocking had some some less than horrible things to say about his dear mother, was on of your favorite cuts off of The Marshall Mathers LP 2, then you're in luck: "Headlights" is the next Eminem track to get the music video treatment and there's some strong speculation alleging that Spike Lee will be sitting in the Director's chair.

The reason for this being that Em posted a photo of himself with the legendary, if outspoken, director, with the caption, “Spike came out to The D for the 'Headlights' video… Coming soon.”

We're thinking that Spike wouldn't head all the way over to Detroit just to say "Hi." He could be having a cameo, but other sources think it's more likely that he's going to direct the visuals for the Emile and Jeff Bhasker (in addition to Shady himself) produced track.

But what do you think? Is there a chance Spike's going to direct this vid? Do you think it makes you more or less excited to see it. Either way,  the video for "Headlights," featuring Nate Reuss, will come out soon.

Check out his latest vid, for the track "Monster" with Rihanna
