Rosie O'Donnell is going public with some serious allegations.

This year has been filled with sexual abuse allegations against men like R. Kelly and Michael Jackson. Their respective documentaries take looks at their accusers' stories and as we continue to receive updates on those situations, Rosie O'Donnell has gone ahead and made her own claims against her father.

According to CNN, the popular comedian has come forward with allegations against her father, saying that he sexually molested her when she was a child. Rosie makes the revelation in an upcoming book called "Ladies Who Punch: The Explosive Inside Story Of 'The View.'" She spoke directly to Variety about how the abuse changed her as a woman.

"It started very young," she said. "And then when my mother died, it sort of ended in a weird way, because then he was with these five children to take care of. On the whole, it's not something I like to talk about." O'Donnell's mother passed away when she was ten-years-old and her father died in 2015.

Speaking on how she changed after experiencing sexual abuse, she said, "Any child who is put in that position, especially by someone in the family, you feel completely powerless and stuck, because the person you would tell is the person doing it." O'Donnell will be going into more detail once the book is published on April 2.
