Last night, the NFL world was in a state of shock as the news broke that star wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr, had been traded from the New York Giants to the Cleveland Browns. In exchange for OBJ, the Giants received safety Jabrill Peppers as well as a first and third-round draft pick. It was a pretty decent haul for the Giants but fans were still upset that such an electrifying player would no longer be with the team.

Explanations for the trade are already starting to manifest, as SNY's Ralph Vacchiano revealed that the trade was less of a football decision and more of a necessity for the locker room.
"[Beckham] had become too much of a pain in the a**," a "source familiar with the situation" explained to Vacchiano. "And there was a real fear that eventually it would get worse."
It was clear over the last few seasons that Beckham Jr. had grown tired of the Giants and their losing ways. Quarterback Eli Manning has been in decline which has hurt Odell's production.
In Cleveland, OBJ will get to play with good friend Jarvis Landry and quarterback Baker Mayfield who was in the running to win rookie of the year honors last season. Despite a horrible 0-16 2017 campaign, the Browns are loaded on offense and could be a serious threat next season.
