It was already projected to be a big week for Beyonce, and now the final sales figures have been revealed.
Not only is Beyonce the singer's biggest debut on the charts, it also set the record for most US iTunes sales in one week with 617,000 sold. Worldwide, Bey was actually able to move 828,773 copies of the album, but her US numbers are what will get the official tally.
Previous to the self-titled record, Beyonce's highest first week sales were for her sophomore album, B'Day, which moved 541,000 in its first seven days.
R. Kelly and Childish Gambino also made their debuts this week, and despite lurking in the shadows of Queen Bey, they both had fairly strong showings. Kells moved 130,221 copies of Black Panties, while Gambino pushed 93,580 of Because The Internet.
