Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom plan to make their love official since both stars have announced that they are engaged to be married. Orlando Bloom popped the question to the "Dark Horse" singer yesterday on Valentine's day and they both shared the same image on that shows off the unique flower engagement ring.
Katy and the Pirates of the Caribbean actor first started dating back in 2016 and had one breakup before getting back together. The Santa Barbara-bred singer recently opened up to Paper Magazine about her appreciation for the work that goes into relationships.
"It's easy to be single and not to be called out on your stuff, living your awesome single life thinking you're the greatest, and the best, and doing anything you want. But then when you get in a partnership you guys are there to teach each other lessons," she said.
She even explained how marriage wasn't really something she was into, but clearly, things have changed.
"I'm very pragmatic and logistical and I am less fantastical about things," she said. "I mean, I was married when I was 25. I'm 34. It was almost 10 years ago. I was like, 'One person for the rest of my life,' and I'm not so sure that that idea is for me. I'm just such a different person than I was."
