2 Chainz, Solange & Lil Skies Debut In Top 10 of Billboard 200

This week, the Billboard 200 is home to new names as 2 Chainz, Solange, and Lil Skies all bow with their respective projects on the Billboard 200 albums chart.

The highest of the three is the artist formerly known as Tity Boi, whose Rap Or Go To The League project bows at No. 4 after pushing 65,000 equivalent album units with 13,000 of those going to pure album sales. It marks the rapper's fifth op 10 album.

He is preceded in rank by Lady Gaga and Bradley Coope's A Star Is Born soundtrack at No. 3 with 74,000 and Ariana Grande's Thank U, Next at No. 2 with 86,000 after spending its first two weeks at No. 1 on the chart. The top slot goes to Hozier, whose Wasteland, Baby! becomes the first rock genre album to top the chart in more than three months since Mumford & Sons' Delta debuted at No. 1 in December.

Following 2 Chainz is Lil Skies at No. 5 with his Shelby project clocking in with 54,000 units while 6,000 of those going to pure album sales. It marks the rapper's second top 10 effort with Life Of A Dark Rose peaking at No. 10 in January 2018. Meanwhile, Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody soundtrack slips to No. 6 with 44, 000 units.

Solange's When I Get Home project makes its debut at No. 7 with 43,000 album units, making it her third top 10 effort. 2017's A Seat At The Table was her second top 10 and her first No. 1 album. Closing things out in the top 10 is Gunna's Drip or Drown 2, which slips from No. 3 to No. 8 with 42,000 units while Offset's Father Of 4 goes from No. 4 to No. 9 with 39,000. Still hanging on is A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie's Hoodie SZN at No. 10 with 35,000 units.
