Giannis Antetokounmpo has been having an MVP-like season in the NBA this year, with some even claiming that the Greek Freak has overtaken LeBron James as the best player in the league. The Bucks superstar has led his team to a 48-15 record which is the best in basketball right now. Giannis and the Bucks even have a chance at making it to the NBA Finals which is an incredible feat considering where the Bucks were just a few years ago.

In 2017, Antetokounmpo was signed to a Nike deal with a promise of a signature shoe eventually coming out. With Giannis' superstardom continuing to rise, his signature shoe will most likely be highly coveted, especially by those who have been following him since he entered the league in 2013.

Those who have been waiting on the signature shoe might not have to wait for that much longer though, as according to @djfolk on Twitter, the "Nike Freak 1" could be coming as soon as this summer and in particular, June or July, with plans for a second colorway coming in August.
