With the arrival of their Cosmic Wind album, their second overall and first since leaving Interscope, Lion Babe has also gifted fans with visual supplement by delivering on the music video for their Raekwon-assisted "Western World."
As the title implies, the new video takes on motifs of the wild west variety and the duo and The Chef head to the desert to underscore their collab, another example of the creative roll Lion Babe has been on since returning to the independent scope.
“We didn’t have much experience yet with writing and making records, so there was a lot trial and error, and having to learn quick [with Begin]," Lion babe told Rolling Stone about the growth between their debut album, Begin, and Cosmic Wind. "There was also a lot of label push to influence our sound and who we worked with. Now that we’re independent, we are able take full control and create a project that is 100 percent us."
