In his short career, Tekashi 6ix9ine has swivelled himself out of many potentially harmful situations. His legal past is troubling and he's also been targeted by kidnappers and robbers before narrowly making his way out. After his most recent arrest, he's pretty much neck-high in hot water as he attempts to do all he can to get out of this situation. Along with a handful of other men, 6ix9ine was arrested earlier this week on racketeering charges, facing anywhere from 32 years to life in prison. According to Rolling Stone, the rapper reportedly offered to surrender over $1 million to be bailed out, but that has been denied.

Details are starting to break out about the artist's current struggles with the feds. It appears he was initially taken into custody to protect him from any potential violent action after firing his team. When he asked to be let go, he was arrested alongside the rest of the crew. Rolling Stone is reporting that Tekashi's attorney, Lance Lazzaro, asked for his client to be let out on bail on the condition that he's placed on house arrest, surrenders over $1 million and his passport. There is reportedly another emergency bail hearing this morning after the first was denied.
As it stands, the release of his Dummy Boy project should still be on for this week. Obviously though, that's subject to change as details continue to be revealed.
