Dawson hates being so far from her family for filming.

Rosario Dawson has spent the last few years entangled in Netflix's Marvel universe. Technically, the shows share the same universe as the movies, although movie stars like Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Evans have yet to make an appearance. Still, Netflix's Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist all have one thing in common... Dawson's Claire Temple. The four shows all feature Dawson as the nurse who helps superheroes, and she is also a vital catalyst for the crossover show The Defenders, in which all four heroes meet up to face The Hand.

Like many of today's Hollywood heroes, Dawson took a trip across the pond to the 2018 MCM London Comic Con to speak about her character. As reported by Screengeek, when asked about the future of her character, Dawson gave fans a brutally honest response. “Yeah, its pretty wild actually. I don’t know if I’ll be back after this, to be honest, but it’s been an amazing few years," she began. "I’ve been on a lot of different shows. I mean, I don’t know if maybe they do a third season of Luke Cage potentially, or maybe if they figure out some kind of way for me to be on The Punisher – just so I can feel like I’ve done every show. But it’s been like, my daughter is high school, so I kinda wanna’ not be 3000 miles away for work.”

Dawson will appear in Luke Cage season two, which premieres on Netflix on June 22.
