A$AP Yams forever.

In 2006, Steven Rodriguez, aka A$AP Yams, played a pivotal role in forming the A$AP Mob, along with key players A$AP Bari, A$AP Illz, and A$AP Kham. Upon the arrival of Rocky, the Mob found themselves reaching new heights of both fame and recognition. Yams stood at the forefront of it all, becoming a fixture in every notable A$AP video, identifiable through his now iconic facial birthmark. Sadly, the game lost Yams on January 18th 2015, after the 26-year-old visionary passed away from "mixed drug intoxication."

Now, on what would have been his birthday, A$AP Ferg has taken a moment to pay homage to his old friend. "Happy Gday Big Asap," he writes, alongside a throwback picture of the pair posted up. Our condolences go out to Yams' friends and family today, and we can only hope that Ferg and the A$AP Mob are pouring one out for the big homie tonight. RIP A$AP Yams.
